Tephie's Personal Bombshelter MarkII

Yep, about time for an update. Before I cut for images I feel I should inform you all that there is a shift in my knitting lately. You see, someone *cough*tamashitoshiro/ToshiroDragon@LJ*cough* sent me an extremely unexpected and generous birthday gift. As a result, my knit and craft urges have been focused on that gift for the past month.

First, the last thing I finished before my birthday:



Now I can say I've knit entrelac. I also knit all the purl side rows from the knit side, aka "knitting backwards".

Okay, onto the gift and the stuff I've made for it.

First, I made a wig, starting with a crocheted wig cap:



It's blurry, but enough to give the idea, it gets covered in "hair" anyway.



Then, to warm up to tiny knitting (well, she's about Barbie sized, so not REALLY tiny, but definitely the tiniest thing I've knit for) I made slippers.



And then I sewed some shorts for her. Tiny sewing is even more of a challenge than tiny knitting!



Then I felt I really should make something for Kris and her boys:



Maybe she'll show up to and post a picture of it on Nicco.

Then, since Nicco was getting the fish hat and Hajime was getting some things, I made this for Tamas (and Nicco):



I love that background stitch, and the cable is pretty awesome if I do say so myself.

Back to making stuff for my girl, something from Vogue Knitting (winter 2008).



It's from Vogue, you can totally wear it open with nothing under it! But since I wouldn't, she wouldn't, so I made her something to go under it.
